Parts Runner and Warehouse Assistant - PART TIME

Flex Hours • Approximately 20-25 hours per week. Monday-Friday between 8am and 5pm

Essential functions of the Parts Runner/Warehouse Assistant include: running parts and equipment from warehouse or vendor to job site. Moving and organizing inventory within the warehouse and warehouse yard, loading and unloading deliveries, pulling parts to fill orders, running office errands, maintenance and upkeep of the yard and facility. This position will require driving a company vehicle.

Requirements:

• Must be able to perform various warehouse duties, including, but not limited to loading/unloading of vehicles, organizing warehouse inventory and equipment, cleaning/maintaining the appearance of the warehouse and yard, cleaning/maintaining the appearance of the company vehicles, and assist in other duties as necessary.

• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.

• Must be a reliable self-starter that is task-oriented.

• Must be able to hook-up, detach, pull and maneuver loaded trailers up to 26’ long.

• Must have a good driving record and ability to pass a drug test.

• Must be able to operate a company vehicle for off-site pick-up and delivery.

• Must be able to communicate effectively with warehouse, service and office staff.

• Must be able to track and keep manager informed of daily progress.

• Must verify accuracy of part’s information prior to making runs.

• Must be willing to question potential inaccuracies of pick up/deliveries.

• Must be willing to assist on service jobs when needed.

 

Must possess and maintain clean driving record. Driver license and ability to be insured required. Drug screens, background screen and motor vehicle records check performed.
